Joe Vona Sr. is a veteran of the Security and Life Safety industry, with more than five decades of experience. He began his career in 1976 as a salesperson with Kidde Automated Systems, selling security and fire protection systems. He went on to become President of Cardkey Systems in 1989.
In 1995, Cardkey Systems was acquired by Johnson Controls. Following the acquisition, Mr. Vona founded Security Search & Consulting, focusing on helping clients identify and recruit talented professionals within the Security and Life Safety industry.
Today, Mr. Vona oversees a robust mergers and acquisitions (M&A) practice, working closely with business owners and industry leaders to navigate the complexities of selling and monetizing their companies. Over the past five years, he has helped more than 40 clients successfully monetize their businesses, leveraging his extensive industry knowledge, relationships, and decades of experience.
