Low Voltage Estimator

ESTIMATOR (Memphis TN) – $70K-$100K Depending on Experience + Company vehicle/allowance

In the past they’ve trained Project Managers to estimate and they believe it would benefit both operations and sales to have a dedicated estimator that just works alongside the sales reps as a unit. It will free up PM resources/time and make the overall process streamlined.

Would be based out of the Memphis office primarily, when they are not in office they are out visiting customer sites.

  • Able to handle incoming print/spec estimates and also walk-thrus/site survey directly with end user (walkalong with the sales rep)
  • Able to quote new projects, create specs and help develop proposals
  • Able to put a Bill of Materials together – product selection, procurement, pricing
  • Solution-finding, engineering mind-set
  • Someone highly experienced with Security Integration, preferably worked in the field at one point.

Very realistic with workload for estimation, described as “working as a strong team, never alone on an island”. want them to focus on doing it efficient but also correctly. They can disperse some of the work to other team members/offices as needed.

Any fire alarm experience would be great or any of their other products Network Cabling/AV/etc.

Any CAD/Drafting experience is very beneficial but not required.
