Electrical Account Manager / Project Manager – Houston, TX

$120K-$170K + Annual bonus structure

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Electrical Account Manager to lead and support a team of service electricians in the Houston area. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, coordinating project execution, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality electrical services across multiple projects.

The ideal candidate will manage and guide electricians, contractors, vendors, and suppliers while maintaining strong operational efficiency, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction. This position also partners closely with leadership to support strategic planning, project performance, and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of up to 20 electricians and field personnel
  • Coordinate project schedules, manpower, materials, and resources to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on time
  • Oversee contractors, suppliers, and vendors to maintain quality standards and project expectations
  • Ensure consistent delivery of cost-effective, high-quality electrical solutions across multiple projects
  • Promote and enforce workplace safety standards and environmental responsibility
  • Monitor employee performance, provide coaching, and foster a collaborative team environment
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, field teams, and company leadership
  • Support project planning, reporting, and operational decision-making processes
  • Utilize project management and business software tools, including Microsoft Office and MS Project

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the electrical construction or electrical services industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent field leadership experience as a Licensed Electrician or Supervisor will also be considered
  • Proven experience leading and managing electrical teams in fast-paced environments
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and power distribution systems, including UPS systems, switchgear, generators, and PDUs
  • Experience managing electrical installation projects for large-scale or high-profile facilities is highly preferred
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and drive results
